Roasted Brussel Sprouts

A hearty meal for a healthy family, this Roasted Brussel Sprouts recipe will surely be a favorite – even with the most picky eaters!

Difficulty: Easy

Serves: 3 – 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 500 g Brussel Sprouts
  • 5 tbsp ELAIESE Red Palm Oil
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 50 g Cranberries
  • 30 g Pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 210 degree Celsius.
  2. Slice off the nubby ends of the brussels sprouts and discard any damaged leaves. After that, cut each sprout into half from the flat base through the top.
  3. Combine the halved sprouts, red palm oil, salt and pepper on the baking dish. Toss the sprouts with a wooden spoon until they are all evenly coated.
  4. Roast the mixed sprouts for 20-25 minutes until the sprouts are tender and golden on the edges.
  5. Once the sprouts are tender and golden, take out from the oven and add the cranberries and pecans into the mixture and mix well.
