Fudgy Brownies

Difficulty: Easy

Serves: 2 – 3 people

Ingredients:

  • 240 g of Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 ½ tbsp ELAIESE Red Palm Oil
  • 180 g of White Sugar
  • 200 g of Brown Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 130 g of All-Purpose Flour
  • 100 g of Cocoa Powder
  • ¾ tsp Salt
  • 200 g of Chocolate Chunks

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degree Celsius. Line a 9-inch square baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the melted butter, red palm oil, and both sugars. Mix the mixture using a whisk by hand or an electric hand mixer.
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time and continue mixing until the mixture becomes fluffy and light in colour.
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and salt into the mixture. Mix until well combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chunks into the mixture and transfer it to the baking tin.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, depending on how fudge you like your brownies to be and leave it to cool completely. Serve.
