Serves: 2 – 3 people (*serving 2 cups)
Ingredients:
- 150 g (3 packets) of Fresh Sweet Basil Leaves
- 3 tbsp Pine Nuts/ Walnuts
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 200 ml ELAIESE Red Palm Oil
- 5 tbsp Parmesan Cheese (grated)
Instructions:
- Combine basil leaves, pine nuts or walnut, and garlic in a food processor. Process the mixture until it reaches a paste-like texture.
- Pour in the red palm oil little by little and continue to process the mixture until smooth. Repeat this step until all the oil is used up.
- Add the cheese and process very briefly just enough to combine.
- Transfer to an air-tight container or jar and store it in the refrigerator.
- Serve with bread or pasta.
