Holiday Mixed Herb Nuts

Impress your loved ones with this mixed herb nuts – perfect as a gift or even for your own snacking!

Difficulty: Easy

Serves: 2 – 3 people

Ingredients:

  1. 50 g of Walnuts
  2. 50 g of Pecans
  3. 50 g of Cashews
  4. 50 g of Almonds
  5. 4 tbsp Brown Sugar
  6. 4 tbsp ELAIESE Red Palm Oil
  7. 3 stalks Fresh Rosemary
  8. 3 stalks Fresh Thyme
  9. 1 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. First, line a 24cm x 18cm tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Toast all the nuts on a non-stick pan over medium heat, while constantly stirring to make sure the heat is evenly distributed.
  3. Once the nuts appear a shade darker and smell toasty, add in the brown sugar and stir constantly to ensure the sugar is well coated around the nuts.
  4. Add in the red palm oil, herbs and salt. Then, stir constantly until all the ingredients are well-mixed altogether.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the parchment-lined tray and place it into the refrigerator for an hour.
  6. Remove the nuts from the refrigerator and store the nuts in an air-tight glass container.
