Holiday Mixed Herbed Nuts

Difficulty: Easy

Serves: 2 – 3 people

Ingredients:

  • 50 g of Walnuts    
  • 50 g of Pecans
  • 50 g of Cashew
  • 50 g of Almonds
  • 4 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 4 tbsp ELAIESE Red Palm Fruit Oil
  • 3 stalks of Fresh Rosemary
  • 3 stalks of Fresh Thyme
  • 1 tsp Salt

Instructions:

  1. Line a small tray with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Toast the nuts on a non-stick pan over medium heat, constantly stirring to make sure the heat is evenly distributed.
  3. Once the nuts appear a shade darker and smell toasty, add in the brown sugar and stir constantly to ensure the sugar is well coated around the nuts.
  4. Add in the red palm oil, herbs, and salt. Stir constantly until all the nuts are well-mixed altogether.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the parchment-lined tray and place it into the refrigerator for an hour.
  6. Remove the nuts from the refrigerator and store the nuts in an air-tight glass container.
